This hike takes you from Koroni (Κορώνη) to Agios Andreas (Άγιος Ανδρέας) in about 4 hours. Never very far from the coast, it crosses a few villages (Kompi, Vounaria, Nea Koroni) and invites you to swim while flirting with beautiful beaches, more (Lachanou, Agia Triada) or less (Peroulia) isolated. Magnificent views on the Gulf of Messinia. Several possibilities to eat or have a drink on the course. No particular difficulties, except for the almost 300 m of elevation gain.

➀ Leave Koroni (Κορώνη) by the Charokopio (Χαροκοπιό) road which goes west of the village. Be careful, you have to take a long left turn on the asphalt, the visibility of vehicles is limited. After the campsite, take the 1st right, then right again. A deliciously shaded cement track slaloms among olive trees and villas. After about 1.5 km, it descends into a hollow where a path goes to the right towards the confidential beach of Lachanou. The track goes up, then becomes asphalt and offers a beautiful panorama on the Gulf of Messenia.
➁ Agia Triada (Αγία Τριάδα), 45 min from Koroni.
A pleasant stopover is the church that gave its name to the neighboring hamlet and to the beach below the cliff. Cross the hamlet and get to a path that leads to the sleepy little village of Kompi (Κόμποι). In the center of the village, take the small road that heads towards Peroulia beach. Follow it for 1.5 km until you reach the beach.
➂ Peroulia (Περούλια), 1h15 from Agia Triada. The two beach bars and the turquoise water invite you to cool off! Then set off again, taking the path that goes up from the beach to reach a small road. Not very picturesque, this one has the only merit of leading you to Vounaria.
➃ Vounaria (Βουνάρια), a pleasant village which has a café, a restaurant and a 5-star hotel. Go down the street which heads northwest. Cross the main Koroni – Kalamata road and continue on the path that goes opposite. 800 m further, you are at the center of the surprising geometric plan of Nea Koroni.
➄ Nea Koroni (Νέα Κορώνη), 1h from Peroulia. Around its central square, you can enjoy a café, a restaurant and two grocery stores. Leave the village to the west, then take the first right. A succession of paths meanders over 2 km in the middle of olive trees and farms. At the end of the road, the small port of Agios Andreas.
➅ Agios Andreas (Άγιος Ανδρέας), 30 min from Nea Koroni.
